The small amount of information that we collect is used to provide you with a great user experience, and/or provide regatta organizers and class administrators with the details they need to process your registration or membership (if you choose to register, join, or renew a membership through our site). INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE TO US
By logging in or creating an account you grant us access to your username, email, and profile picture (if you choose to upload one, or log in via Facebook).
When you register for a regatta via The Service we collect additional information as part of our registration process so that we can provide it to the regatta organizer(s). This includes (but is not limited to) your email, phone number, name, date of birth, and information that is important for the organizer to have in case of an emergency. We only collect the information that you explicitly enter into the registration form.
We NEVER store credit card or other sensitive payment information on our servers to reduce the risk of someone obtaining your information.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
When you visit or make use of The Service we may collect some basic information automatically. For instance, we collect aggregate usage data that your visits and actions contribute to. This information is not tied to you personally in any way.
SHARING INFORMATION
We reserve the right to share information that you provide to us with the regatta organizer(s) and or class adminstrator(s) whose event or class you signed up for.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
The Services may contain links to other websites. If you choose to visit other websites we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those other websites, and it is your responsibility to review the privacy policies for those sites to confirm that you understand and agree with their policies.
MARKETING
When you create an account on Regatta Toolbox we reserve the right to access your contact information to send you occassional updates about the service (for instance, new feature announcements), alerts related to your account, and other information about Regatta Toolbox and/or other relevant products and services. You can opt out of these updates at any time simply by contacting us.
